BIOGRAPHY

“Jody Medland is the founder of www.magicdustproductions.com , which was founded in 2006 in order to create fresh working opportunities for young filmmakers working in Britain. He has worked as a freelance Writer, Producer and Director in London for the past 7-years and recently worked on a series of TV commercials and idents for MTV.

His love and passion for creating original work also led him to teach at ‘The Pauline Quirke Academy’, where he was highly praised for his contribution to the school. The first film that he created with his students was an adaptation of ‘The Demon Headmaster’, which gained plaudits from author Gillian Cross before being shown on Sky TV.

Since then, he has moved on to extra curricular drama school ‘Theatricks’ where he is developing a new radio series, titled ‘Runaways’.

Jody is currently pursuing a literary agent after the completion of his debut novel, a conspiracy thriller titled ‘MI LI5E’, whilst negotiating deals for his original scripts across the TV, Film and Radio genres”.
